Security Alarm System |
The theft of electricity from
the illumination supply line is always a difficult problem that
the Public Light industry finds it virtually impossible to guard
against. The Archnet Intelligent Electric Cable Security Alarm
System is mainly used for the protection of low voltage power
circuit and the communications cable against theft or tapping.
It is an ideal product for securing the
illumination and electrical supply line. This security alarm
system makes use of Archnet's advanced spread spectrum power line
carrier communication technology; and it can be integrated into
the remote sensing, communication, and control system developed by
the user. The system is an answer to all the power line security
and monitoring needs of a city. The system diagram of the
Intelligent Electric Cable Security Alarm System is shown as
follows: |

As can be seen in the diagram, the Intelligent
Power Line (electric cable) Security Alarm System consists of a
Alarm Terminal and a number of Power Line Monitoring units. The
Alarm Terminal is installed inside the distribution panel of the
distribution transformer. If the user has a remote monitoring
system, this terminal can be directly connected to the remote
system as an input. This input can be a Multi- switch or RS485/232
interface. If there is no direct connection to the user's remote
monitoring system, the alarm message can be transmitted to the
monitoring station or security personal via the public
communication network, such as GSM, GPRS or SMS. The Circuit
Monitoring Units are installed at the end of a cable section. 16
Circuit Monitoring Units can be installed at each distribution
transformers. That means, the Alarm Terminal can monitor up to 16
cable sections. In case of any damage to the electric cable, the
monitoring system can report the transformer number, section
location of the damaged cable and time of the event to the
management personnel at the Monitoring Station to take appropriate
action.
Features:
1. Use of the existing electric cable to transmit the monitoring
signal with no need of new data line, thus reducing installation
cost.
2. Reliable communication with or without electricity flowing in
the cable..
3. Can be integrated into the existing remote control and
management system, or as a standalone system using the public
network including GSM, GPRS and SMS.
4. Quick response time alarm warning signal depending on the
number of circuit monitoring units connected to the alarm
terminal. Alarm warning signals can be emitted within 10-30s.
5. Accurate and detailed alarm report, including transformer
serial number, circuit location, time of event, report time.
6. Electromagnetic compatibility: the security alarm system
conforms to IEC 1000-4-2, 3, 4, 5 EMC standards. |
